    ... for our cruise.
During dinner our boat arrived at our destination of Viviers. After dinner we took a guided evening walk through this charming town dating back to the Middle Ages. There are still many people living in this historical town with cobblestone roads, narrow and curved alleys, and many examples of Renaissance architecture. This town definitely brought you back in ...

... on the river Rhone and we had a lovely walk in the SUN SHINE as the photos will prove.

We found a nice camp site 5 mins out of town and have just come back from a walk around the village and a glass of red, so we could use the Internet. Tomorrow we plan to carry onto Avignon, find a nice camp site and settle down for 4/5 days and hope we have seen the last of the rain.

We briefly had a tour of the magnificent museum learning about the construction and roman need and use of water, before walking down ...

... river cruising. Well, the nana nap went ok but the ship is still moored having its propellers attended to. Day 28: A stunning sunrise this morning still moored at Viviers while the Scenic technician from Amsterdam, who flew in last night works on fixing our boat today. Our excursion this morning was not affected other than a one hour bus trip to the little wine growing town of Chateneaux-de-Pape rather than a short drive from our intended port. This is ...

... its aromas and flavours. I prefer to just eat it which we eventually did with lots of samples and a few purchases. Note that they may not make it home as purchased! Very picturesque little place, both sides of the river which we explored a little till lunch. We went for a quick walk after lunch made quicker by the beginning of another downpour. So we are now cruising down the river towards Viviers on the way to Avignon in Provence later in the week for which Lyn is hanging ...
