... a beautiful church on the inside, but the outside was spectacular, but for all the wrong reasons. Just didn't look good to me, but impressive. There was also the ruins of an ancient Roman Theatre and more ruins at Cybele's Archaeological Garden. However the best was a small train ride to the top of a very high Hill and the view which was ...

We headed out on a walk of the town, which was actually very short, and very small! Nice place though!

Maybe the travellers on this ship have been together too long! Tomorrow we have a trip to another hilltop village which may be surrounded by lavender fields. Tomorrow is our last rest afternoon and last real bit of cruising. We arrive in Avignon in the ...

... were ushered from the deck, even the lower bit in front of the bridge. Boy those bridges were low but we made it through Lyon. The water levels are of constant concern. Hopefully we can now race the rising water to the Mediterranean Sea and still get under all the bridges. On to Vienne, dinner (yes, eating again) at the fancy restaurant at the back of the ship and maybe a walk around Vienne after dinner to see the Roman ...
