... eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. We never had a good salad in England and these taste great. The weather here is warmer during the day and cooler at night. It was 80 when we arrived!

In the morning there is a huge market on the square. You can buy everything from underwear to silk flowers to every imaginable fruit, vegetable, bread, cheese and ...

... We are staying at an actual Chateau for 2 nights now. It is called the Chateau de la Fleunie. Silly name, but a beautiful Chateau on a hill, overlooking farmlands. They are your average looking rubbish bins - about 2m high. This morning when the garbage truck came the ...

... on the riverbank for our picnic lunch. When we returned to the hotel around 2 pm our rooms were ready so we quickly changed and went for a dip - and it was a very quick dip in the pool as it was very very refreshing (cold). Hotel is great - a 19th century mansion style. Rooms are tastefully decorated in the period and the gardens are beautiful - with a pool! Rooms are names after roses - and there is a 100 year old rose garden. We Headed to Lascaux caves - none of the ...

... after wine tasting too. The chateaux had beautiful grounds and was a a public park - and looked so inviting. We wheeled our bikes in and found a good little posse under some trees and unloaded our picnic supplies. We even had a a local bottle of wine to enjoy with lunch. This is the life! A groundsman wandered over and chatted to us in French - we were not sure if was telling us we shouldn't be picnicing or if ...
