... all bought padlocks, locked them together, bound them to the bridge, and threw the keys behind our backs into the river. The bridge was so full with padlocks that some of the fencing was falling down. We then went to the Notre Dame, which was an incredible experience. It was so peaceful, grand, and beautiful. We spent a long time soaking up the architecture and tranquility before catching the metro back to the campsite.
