... bus stop. We waited, and waited and waited and finally a bus turned up. It was now dark, so we decided to abort the rest of the itinerary, get off at the closest geographical stop to our apartment and walk back. The evening was cold but the Christmas lights sparkled and Paris looked beautiful. We didn’t get to the Louvre or Pompidou Centre but we saw just about everything else. No problem – we’ll just have to come ...
