From there we went to lunch at Le Deux Magots, a highly recommended restaurant by a friend in Napier. Took us a while to find it but it was great when we did. The kids’ first trip to a Cathedral (of quite a few on this holiday) and they were largely well behaved. There was a service in progress, so they had to be. I’m always astounded at the architecture built hundreds of years ago (although this was built in 1873 so not as old as the Pantheon or Notre Dame). ...

... I wouldn't take anything for granted again.
The next night, I FaceTimed Nick and he was showing me some of his father's things he had found. One was a coin with an Italian restaurant's name on it. I googled it and found that it was nearby. The next morning, I found the restaurant on my walk home from class in Piazza Santa Maria... literally down the street from my apartment. Small world. Rest in peace, Mr. Dummar.

Thursday afternoon, I was relieved that my midterm ...
