... which was frustrating. Eli's apple maps weren't really being very helpful. We eventually found one. It had quite a few different stalls - selling garage sale stuff, scarves, books, a few clothes stalls, dvds, records etc. There was also a small indoor market selling meat, cheese etc and a line of stalls along the road selling fruit and veg. Eli found a few DVDs in French but that was about all we purchased. It was fun looking around all the same. ...
... but some of the tastes were way out of my league. They had wine and cheese from all different regions in France. It was fascinating. I spoke to a woman who grew up in Louisville, KY. I told her we were meant to meet. What a very small world.
A side note:
General Rochambeau and the French Army (5,500 troops) allied with General Washington and the Continental Army to help in the victory at Yorktown.

It was now dark, so we decided to abort the rest of the itinerary, get off at the closest geographical stop to our apartment and walk back.
