In the afternoon we went to purchase our rail tickets, but first we had to get the Metro to Gare Nord, which usually would have been simple, but some of the stations didn't sell tickets. As we walked along the underground tunnels to the platform we experienced another 'wow' of Paris, the buskers. This time a small orchestra playing some classical music - just wonderful. Getting to the Louvre wasn't too bad... we hopped on to 2 buses that got us there. While walking from our bus stop to the Louvre, Chris and I were confronted by the group of young men that wanted us to sign a petition..... and then while you are distracted they pick you clean. Chris and I had to push our way through. They bothered Chris more than me... he had the big camera on. Fortunately we faired out alright.... just was an annoyance and glad that we ...
