... started to drizzle. The Orangerie is an art museum famous for Monet's Water Lily paintings. There are eight paintings-- each one about eight feet tall. They range in length from around twenty feet to forty feet. The two main rooms have four paintings each, with the rooms oval shaped and the paintings curved around the walls. Climbing the 250 stairs to the top was fun, and the views of the city and the Champs des Elysse were awesome. Back at the bottom, we looked at the carvings on the monument, and the eternal flame.
