Day sixteen - Karlsborg
Up at 8:00 and out the door for Karlsborg on the Vattern Lake via Lacko Slott, a 13th century castle (renovated in the 17th century) just outside of Lidkoping, on Vernern Lake. Well I got on without a problem but dinner had already begun. I quickly got changed, walked into the dining room and Oh, Oh ! Brenda and I had been sat at the Captains table for dinner that night.
I got a round of applause when I walked in. Took a bow and apologised for my misdemeanour. Still, I did receive my certificate for having travelled the Gota Canal by boat. (and by foot for a little way).

Sweet as Sweden
... Goteburg. The scenary is nice - just like NZ except no sheep or cows so far, only crops; and the people are better looking. Heaps of green-ness, wildflowers and wind turbines also- awesome! The bus has wifi which is pretty sweet.
Arrived in Goteburg and had issues using the toilets cos we didnt have any swedish kroner yet and its cost 10kr :(
Arrived in Lindkoping finally at 9pm after a bus, train, bus, train, bus then car ride. What a day!

Tag 14: Kinnekulle und Co
... als Frühling. Morgen werde ich nach Vaxjö fahren und Småland ein wenig mehr erkunden, dass ist bei meinem letzten Schwedenfahrrad Trip zu kurz gekommen. Ich war übrigens vorhin schon fast kurz davor ein Zimmer in der Jugendherberge in Hjo zu nehmen, 45€ war auch nicht so teuer, aber zum Glück haben die keine Kreditkarte genommen und ich habe einen schönen Rastplatz gefunden mit Blick auf den Vättern.
