Couldn't help thinking that if it had been built as social housing overlooking St Charles rather than in the posher 17/18th Arrondisement whether it might have suffered the same fate as Sheffield's Park Hill. Overall, another highly recommended day trip from Aix by public transport.

Provence is celebrating the 100th year of Cezanne's death with exhibitions and lots of good PR. I'm sorry I don't have any pictures. I was too tired and lazy for that. But I imagine that I'll be going back with the girls for moral support and second opinions while they do their fancy-clothes shopping, so I'll probably take some pictures then.
