Day 6: Marseille
... could look one way and see Marseille in the distance, shift right and see solitary crags rising sporadically just offshore, or look straight ahead and see the sapphire blue Mediterranean glistening in the morning sun. ... on the conditioner! IF you can find it it's even smaller for usually twice as much money than shampoo! This is really upsetting for someone who has thick wavy hair. I need conditioner...maybe I'll just shave my head...
Here I thought I'd be saving space by not bringing with me shampoo/conditioner from America! Note to self: bring conditioner at least to save on money and time! Even if it means one less shirt. Ha.

... again. So, i invited my French classmates. Only the swedes couldn't come, but the other three were able to make it! Needless to say, for an american holiday/tradition we were rather international. Around the dinner table we were representing: America, Thailand, Poland, Latvia, England and France. It was great! A night well spent.

WOW il fait vraiment beau! jadore le sud de la France! je suis donc en robe,y fait vraiment chaud et evidament, jai le droit a des commentaires de Marseillais, et des expressions que je comprend a moitié, ouff yon vraiment un accent special et tout un vocabulaire! je me promene donc dans le Panier, fort St jean,cathedrale notre dame de la major, petites rues, le port et ses vendeurs de poissons ...

We missed the summer lavender fields. If you really dig modern painting, Aix-en-Provence may hold some charm. Not a bad town, just nothing really spectacular.
