... morning we were a bit lazy but after a late breakfast we started off again, hiking in a different direction along the lake. The sun was shining and we were happy to have some exercise. Unfortunately the weather began to change around noon time so we headed back to enjoy lunch with our hosts before they drove us back to Katrineholm for our return trip to Stockholm.

I have a a few nice photos of our trip to "Fredriksdal".

For instance there was no mention on any that we heard or got on the internet that there would be thunder, lightning, torrential rain and reasonably strong winds overnight but we certainly experienced them! At 03:00 I was up checking (this was the third time) that the anchor was holding OK, which it was, when I saw that the skipper of the boat on one of the two SKK ...

Sometime during the night it clouded over and this morning, it was raining and of course, still windy. We decided to have a good breakfast (bacon & egg) and take our time over it in the hope that the wind would subside somewhat and the rain ease off. If we wanted to make any progress northwards we realised that once again, we would have little option other than to use the engine. I know that there are sailing yachts that can sail a great deal closer to ...
