    ... and a display on the extraction of at people to England. When we finished inside we walked around the outside where they had a few cannon and excellent views of the harbor. We also walked the street fair that was setup primarily with food booths, but it was fun to check things out.

    ... away well before the champagne departure drinks reception at 2200hrs!!!!! we did however wake up-just before 'take off' to watch the wharf disappear behind us and the glittering skyline of Bergen twinkled in the distance. In 1927 a block of granite was delivered to the park weighing several hundred tons, erected a year later and a wooden shed built around it to keep out the elements the plaster model alongside and then it took 3 stone carvers 14 years to complete.
