    When we woke up this morning, the Boudicca had already docked in Ålesund. We hadn’t been to this port before, so we were looking forward to exploring.     ... br> Our original plan was to head south towards Bergen and Stavanger but because a truck had burnt down in one of the tunnels meant we had to change strategy and Ålesund was the obvious choice. And the amount of tunnels in this country is worth a mention. I don't think we drove for more than half an hour in the fjord region without going through a tunnel, some up to 25kms long. I guess there aren’t many other options ...
