    ... we took the subway to our hotel and dropped our bags off before setting out on Phil's itinerary.
    First visit was to Nagoya Castle , five stories high in a huge park with good views of the city. Boy, it was hot inside and out and The locals are mopping themselves with their hand towels very frequently. The walls were all blocks of rock constructed similarly to pyramids and the roof lines were in a pagoda style with two huge solid hold statues on top. ...

    ... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town. We had a beautiful tea not far from there. When we got back from tea we had another spa, getting used to it (in the nude) still lots of laughs. It's now 9.00 and ready for bed.
