Grey Days
We have agreed a plan. By the time it gets to 4pm, if we have not reached our destination we will start looking for a campsite wherever we happen to be. As we find ourselves in a beautiful (and sunny) bit of countryside we decide to stay right here.

It was the best of times and the worst of times
... that underneath the calm surface lurk the cat fish the size of Monsieur with a mouth comme Jaws. He even reports that petit chien have disappeared whilst paddling. Not only that but in the air a fish eagle flies menacingly with the wingspan of a jumbo jet. I don't know where to look.

Minor ailments cured
... me a Werther's Original) then monsieur cooks the evening meal,whilst Madame takes me on another walk after being fed. A game of some kind then pursues, Madame has lost 12 to 2 so far at scrabble. Yes, boring, much more interesting is when Monsieur et Madame experience their problems.
There are a couple of minor incidents to report. Madame, whilst brushing out the motorhome trapped a nerve in her back (serve her right says Monsieur) ...
And into wine country
... to go enjoy out in the hills of the local village, chowing down on ham and brie bagettes. Discovering a local pub also helped see a pint or two disappear.
The afternoon was spent lazing around the pool drinking desperados (tequila beer) amongst others before dinner and a P themed party that went well into the next morning.
