... is struggling and there is not much to do other than have a brief walk round it and head on up the valley to pastures new. This Aire is actually a bit of a joke. They ask 8€ per night it's a long bay for 12 camper vans and you can only just open the doors it's that tight. ... at the tiny village of saint Amour. A spectacular hotel with magnificent rooms. Ours faced on to the swimming pool and was very spacious. Hotel Auberge Du Paradise. Recommended. Swims for all - very hot. Dinner in Auberge restaurant. 7 course degustation. In a word, spectacular. Waked the streets of Lyon in the morning. Some very good shopping, however being Sunday, everything was closed in the time we were there. Metro to Gare Part Dieu, then caught the Ter to Meximieur, and from there took the bus to the hilltop village of Perouge.
