Well this one has the distinction of being built atop the bunker where Hitler committed suicide. My first thought: is the apartment building haunted? And is he loud? My second thought, incidentally, was, "Can we go into the bunker," to which the answer is, "No."

Our stay in Heidelberg was only about 2 hours. We boarded another train to go to Berlin. We came here to complete one big scavenge, see and experience Check Point Charlie. (Note to self, study the history of this important place during the Cold War.) The check point/outpost is still in place. This location was a high profile place between East and West Berlin during the Cold War in the 1960s. See the picture and a better description.
