... happen much on this endeavor.

Fortunately, we went out on the optional tour, which included a number of spots where we walked and were spread out through out the City. There was much to see, and much we did not see. One day was certainly not enough for this City. We need a week here to make a real dent in it.

Security was a bit of a hassle, but we got to leave our shoes on and as far as I know the finer details of my retina remain confidential to me and my optometrist. Until we get to the States I guess. A nice breakfast airside and then we were onto the plane. The British Airways flight was nice, if ...

... Ok so that concludes the whirlwind Berlin trip. It was indeed quite crazy - like we headed there thurs night and from fri morn it was just crazy sightseeing coupled with some luck.
The hotel was as how I always love a hotel besides the train to be - just next to it! So with our heavy luggage it was still manageable.

Next morn we woke up early thanks to the open window. Cold and noisy from the construction site next door.

So we left early though ...
