The trams are great: clean, cheap, and all electric. The city of Geneva (from what I could see) was really clean too, with recycling bins everywhere there's a rubbish bin. The water here even tastes like New Zealand water! The hotel is really nice too, with big modern rooms. Definitely nice to have some space after ...

The grounds of the museum are simply amazing. You wind up a walkway that has a symbolic relationship to the Olympic distance of a marathon. The flora and fauna had me drooling over the different flowers and types of grass they had growing. As you ascended the walk way - you could see the view of Lake Geneva - just amazing. Beautiful boats, yachts, impeccable hotels and associated grounds speckle and sprawl beyond the main road ...

Angela delighted us with her staying for two days. When you don't get to see someone but every few years, you grab at as much time as you can get!!!

Bless her heart, when I said that we didn't know what we were up to, she was quick to quip - "I'll just do whatever you do!" with a huge smile on her face. Sigh…I love my cousin.

Zermatt now a memory, we headed down the mountain toward Lausanne. This is a typical sight on the train as we neared Lake Geneva.

Leaving Zermatt we saw many vineyards. Here the vineyard in the lowlands shows the contrast of the snow line and the alps in the background.
