Tuesday morning we did the Hop on Hop Off tram tour of Key West. Key West is Mile 0 in the USA. It is the most southern city (pop 25,000) in the US and there are signs to say the most southern house etc. It is only 90 miles across the ocean to get to Cuba. There are way more shells on the beach here and lots of pelicans that you can get pretty close to.
We went on lots of little walks and a longer 3.5 miles hike in the mangroves. There was an amazing discovery Center that we toured talking about the mangroves - excellent stuff for kids.
We saw crabs, fish and even one dolphin swimming in the lagoon.
They have a beautiful jetty at Sebastian State Park ...
