From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. Our next stop was to relive November 22, 1963. The sixth floor of the Book Depository building at Dealey Plaza was full of ...

As for attractions? THE RODEO! The Championship Rodeo at Fort Worth was an unbelievable experience. Before the show they play country music throughout the entire Coliseum with two spotlights moving back and forth around in the crowds. In the beginning, a cowgirl rides around the arena holding the ...

I am not obsessed with trying to recapture my youth on live for eternity, it just seems like every year and every month is lived and chronicled as history quicker and quicker when I pause to reflect on where I'm at and where I have been. However, with my upcoming trip to Peru and Bolivia; I can't spin the hands of the clock fast ...

... within the maze and get out of the maze in the quickest time. We managed 13 minutes and were extremely proud of ourselves when we received marbles as our prize.

The cattle drive was a bit of a letdown though, as it's very staged with a small herd of cattle being released from the pen on the one end and walked by the cowboys back through the roads to the other end. Besides a photo op I'm not sure it played much purpose.

... and the Wild West. The cattle stations were really cool to see and the old school shops which held a lot of cowboy/cowgirl hats, shoes, clothes and saddles. There was a cattle walk down the main where the big Longhorn cows walked down the street. We booked our tickets $18.50 to the rodeo tonight and we were excited :) Allana cut her foot on some metal and some nice local cowboys Jason and Bric helped her out. Jason was a ...
