    ... to church. That was not our plan until we parked and the noon mass bells started ringing. Strangely, the same thing happened last year when we were on the Notre Dame campus. The bells started ringing for Saturday, 5 o'clock mass. Both times it seemed appropriate. Plus, we always like to see pretty big churches. We meaning Paul and I.     ... price of $20 American each. They both had two each and that was enough to keep them happy for the rest of the night, to the point where they nearly missed the bus the next morning!

    The locals were very warm and friendly and were surprised to see so many Australians in their pub. We all enjoyed our first Texas experience and it certainly was not the last of it as we were off to the big Texas city of Dallas the next day.
