... interstate with vehicles pilling up behind us, we were never so happy to get out of a vehicle. Finally, we're off the road.... 7:30pm (MT): Albuquerque, New Mexico. We arrived at American RV Park in the west side of Albuquerque along I-40 with 308 miles today (total mileage 1529). We got checked in and setup at our site. We reached our first stop last night in Amarillo, Texas. It was probably the dirtiest place we have ever stayed 😝 no working shower or heater!! And I mention the heater because it somehow managed to be 38 degrees in Texas! But we made it work and still enjoyed each others company and had a good nights sleep. We are getting our coffee now as I prepare for the next leg of our trip! To Arizona we go! love and light regan and ...

A lot moved on, as they could not survive solely ...

Day starts at 7.30am. Wake up next to another guy I'm double bed.. Awkward but as 4 guys 2 beds doesn't fit you go with it. Breakfast was a Danish and orange juice. On road by 9 am for 10 minutes down the road to the Route 66 museum. This was real highlight. Everything about the history of the mother road through the centuries. 1950s/1960s is personally my idea of Route 66, diners, neon signs and Elvis. Snap happy is good way ...

... a roll, salad, baked potato, shrimp and the 72 oz steak. We then got back to our camp site and were exhausted! We blew up our air mattress, climbed in our sleeping bags and were out cold for the rest of the night. We packed up early this morning and had to stop at Cadillac Ranch for a photo op. For those of you who may not know, a guy buried some Cadillacs in the ground. And that is all I know on that topic. Off to ...
