We pulled into the Amarillo Ranch RV Park later in the afternoon. We have stayed here in the past and it's a very clean, friendly, reasonable and easy off / easy on interstate park.

We set out on our Southwest America journey on Wednesday July 9th at 1pm. The kids settled in for the long ride by swiftly firing up their electronic devices. Aria had a movie going on her DVD player before we got on I-20. They were so entertained that not once today did I hear "Are we there, yet?"

We watched on for ages as people from all walks danced around including wedding parties, and old blokes dancing with young girls 2 stereos their way around. All the guys wore big white Texan cowboy hats, jeans, chequered shirts ...
