... magnitude of the falls. There used to be another viewing deck that
was closer, but I think it was destroyed by storm. It’s also possible to hike down to the falls,
but there’s nowhere to really get a good view.
And we were tired from all the hiking this weekend, so we sat and had a
snack for lunch at the overlook before heading back. Victory!

... I made it almost all the way up to the top of Mont Blanc. I saw sea birds even Judy hasn't put on her life list. England'll be there; so will Lisbon, Luxembourg, Norway, Finland, Tangiers (you're safe, Andrea; the score for Africa is still Dad 0, Andrea 0), and Tallinn, all of which were definitely on my "collecting list" this time.

We continued down 100/41 to the beautiful town of White Springs. We stopped at a wayside park on the historic and scenic Suwanee River.
We cruised on through Georgia and made it to Anderson in time for dinner. Thanks to Steve we had an amazing lasagna dinner.
Tomorrow we start our journey.
Heading home day. We got up a little earlier than normal, ate breakfast in the room and packed up. We were on the road by 9:00am, stopped for gas and ice and headed home. We stopped in Columbia at a Wendy's for lunch and got home around 3:00 pm... Really good to be ...
... to some local band perform during the arts show. I can honestly say that there is something really quaint about this town.
As well as being a normal town little boutiques as well as chain shops there was a waterfall in the middle of the town which I have never seen before which turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
