    ... bike and walking trail system (about 45 miles in total). We rode 2 of the longest: the Mission Trail and the Leon Creek Greenway. The Mission Trail runs along the river and connects the 4 Franciscan Missions. They are in various states of restoration and each use to be its own small town. We watched a documentary about the history, looked around, then went into the San Fernando Cathedral, a very beautiful church, and bought a candle which we lit for Jean (friend in Mara) and Vicki (auntie to Paul). It was a beautiful church. I was feeling a cold coming on and we didn't like the freezing windy weather, so we caught a bus home.
