We took a 45 minute Ferry to Cumberland Island National Seashore which is the only way you can get to this island. It is a very primitive island with limited services. A National Park Ranger took us on a 6 hour van ride and talked about the history of the island going back to the 1500's.

A total rainout day today. Optimistically, we drove to Amelia Island, Florida and Fernandina Beach. I am sure on a sunny day, it would be spectacular.
