... We walked the manicured grounds & watched as people in white played croquet with huge 4 x 4 mallets!! (Look carefully at the photo you an see a mallet standing on its own! ) I had to ask if it was called croquet because they where so big & heavy. I thought it was really funny! The first European William Horton, landed here in 1736, establishing a farm on 500 acres granted to him to grow crops to feed ...

When we got there we found out there was a big event going on to help raise money for the park. We drove to the Chesser Homestead which was hosting the event and walked around with all ...

Hopefully we will see more in the future but it`s definitely not easy. We spent the morning driving to Savannah, Georgia. We parked right next to Forsyth Park and decided to walk around the city. I immediately really enjoyed the feel of Savannah. Its got a very romantic and whimsical ...

... Steak House along Bay Street, it's only four blocks. I wanted to try the onion bloom which did not disappoint. I took a photo, its got a rub on it and was deep fried and there was a spicy sauce to dip it into, YUM! Andrew wanted some more and ordered BBQ shrimp on the barbie and quasadeas. We had a couple of pints, everything was happy hour and half price. We saw the pommy couple Ian and can't remember, they had a couple of run ins with Chanda and told ...
