      As we've travelled further south the weather has been getting progressively hotter so we decided to just do a short walk in the Pere Marquette State Park before we left rather than a long one.       ... day and while he said he hates being stuck in one place for very long, I’ve been craving it lately. But I don’t think that simply renting an apartment and working a 40 hour/week job is what I should go back to either. My dreams for running my own 1 acre homestead have been pushing through again lately (I do miss working at Sunseed Farm in Ann Arbor and even flowerpot gardening on the patio at our last apartment).       I think we finally have this camper about ready to go. We've done a lot of work trying to make it feel less like a trailer and more like home.

      Lots of paint, removing old furniture, adding paneling. Switched out the queen bed with a twin and a toddler bed, and built a couch/bed contraption for me and Molly where the old air bed sofa was.

      It feels really good in here. Now if everything will hold up on the road, we should be fine.

      1) a laptop screen is destroyed

      2) the bus windshield experiences and incident of FOD (foreign object damage) resulting in a chip.
