After a 9-hour, drive on dark, 2-lane roads, with detours over mountain passes on some gravel roads, we arrived in Helena at 4:30am. Brutal! We slept for a couple hours, ate breakfast, I returned the rental car at the quiet little Helena airport, and our Rocking Z hosts picked us up before 9am.
