Visited said pub (yes, exactly the same except for musicians' photos on walls since her time) at 8:30 last night, we the only two customers but was closing we were told. We headed north out of the park to Rt. 70 and it took us about half an hour to get to the Embassy Suites at the Airport. We got checked in and took our bags to the room. WOW! We have a suite with a bedroom, sitting room, bathroom and a little kitchenette. Larry left to take the car back to the airport where a shuttle from Embassy Suites picked him up and brought him back. The goal is to either land the bag on the platform to score points or get it into the whole to score more points. You play against someone up to 21 points. Denver is really nice during this time of year. Great weather and clear nights. I could live here.

Mom/Sue came to visit for the holiday weekend and Brendan could not wait for her to arrive. We had a packed agenda, which started as soon as she arrived Friday afternoon with a tour of the area (Landmark Plaza, local mansions, favorite hang outs) and dinner at Great Northern brewing company. We knew the weekend was off to a good start when Brendan won a free appetizer using their phone application.

We drove from Parachute to Denver going through Glenwood Springs, Vail, Breckenridge, and Idaho Springs. We saw beautiful mountains, lakes, and snow – it even snowed a little bit on the way!

In Denver we went to the Buell theater where we saw the thrillifying popular musical Wicked! I had been listening to all of the wonderful music for a couple months so I couldn't have been happier to finally see the show. Even ...
