... both facilities at the same time. This 2nd USP is not mentioned on posters.

One high point earlier was discovering the wonderful "Sweet Tomato" (Te'mate-o) chain of restaurants with a line of 30ish help yourself salad ingredients, soup, bread, deserts etc all for less than 25 dollars for 2. Still no booze but was a Vegan's dream.

Now off to bed looking forward to the next 3 days.

The day was cloudy and overcast, as all our mornings in San Francisco were. We headed south, avoiding the Bay Bridge that we came in on and also the $6 toll. We decided to head to Fresno which was only a few hours drive and then decide what to do after that.

Hours and hours went into searching and we finally decided to buy them two movies. We walked out of the store and Pakou saw Micheal's nearby so we went to go check it out. There were numerous of crafting items we wanted to get but couldn't due to ...

We had a short travel day. The Sequoia National Forest is only about 2 hours from Visalia. We started up the park road and ended up parked for the better part of an hour because of park road-building. It was frustrating but neat watching them building the road up on such a steep slope. Once passed that, we made our way to the giant Sequoia's. We took a shuttle to the General Sherman tree ...

      Today was hard

... the incredible colors He gives us. He is faithful and He provides.

We arrive at the school and our contact person is apparently super stressed out (for no reason) and is freaking out that we were late (but we were ten minutes early)… So that kinda irked me but I tried to stay positive. For fear of not holding it down I had skipped breakfast and I was starting to feel that too. Our set up went rather smoothly, even with the 15 high school students ...
