    ... shop and say how much you want - being a hire car and the first fill up we had no idea so we opted for $40. Then you have to go back to the car as they don't take debit cards, only credit cards. Then they swipe the card and you sign the paper ...remember those days? Then you only put $30 worth in so you have to go back and get a refund! Easy peasy! Then you get back to your motel room and open the Californian wine you just bought and take a big sip! Very nice as are ...

    ... had one last attempt to watch the Bellagio fountains before we headed to the airport but unfortunately they were cancelled due to the winds again. We had spectacular views of the Grand Canyon as we flew out of Vegas so we weren’t that upset at not being able to take a helicopter ride. The rest of the journey home was not so great as we had really bad turbulence for the entire 5 hour flight as we flew around the storms that were ranging in the Midwest.

    I was glad to have the GPS because I cut across California from Santa Cruz to Fresno just like I knew what I was doing. I stopped at Casa De Fruita and got some things for the Haley and Michigan people. It is a tradition to go to the Casa so we know where we are and when we will arrive!

    ... falls-- which is the hike we were planning anyway. The hike to the upper falls takes about 6-8 hours so we decided to only go halfway, to the Middle Cascades. It was still a good hike that took almost 3 hours. The falls were so dry that there really wasn't but a trickle coming down, but it still was a great view. After the hike, we headed out of the park and back to Fresno. ...

    ... 3 of the screen. But thats what she wanted. The kids talked through most of the show and were so loud and obnoxious. I hate feeling like no one paid attention but that was what it was like. We packed up and left, and I felt pretty discouraged.
