We departed Elkins and drove to Dulles. I had the misfortune to hit and kill a deer on the way. Luckily for us, there was not a lot of damage to the truck, so we were able to finish our trip without further incident.

My navigation would fluctuate between saying I would arrive at 5:18 and 6:20, depending on the amount of backed up traffic on the Beltway. Fortunately an alternate toll road route popped up that put me on target for a 5:35 arrival. I have been cussing paying tolls lately but today I was happy to pay the fee! I arrived at 5:32, walked in, said hi, used ...
