This past Friday, May 22nd, Ben and I drove out to our hotel in Denver. We were planning on attending our first ever Comic Con!!! We had bought the 3-day adult pass.
We stayed at a hotel so we wouldn't have to worry about driving each day from Longmont. Without traffic, it'd be at least 45 minutes one way and then trying to find parking... we just thought it'd be easier to just stay in ...
... had a few minutes before heading to the airport, so we walked about as far around Echo Lake as we could. Then, in the car for the drive to the airport.
Returned rental car, shuttled to airport, went through security. Thank goodness we had Pre, because the lines were very long. Went to the club, where I worked for a bit. Then on the plane for an easy flight home. Got our bags, the car, and drove home. Gruden greeted us with whimpering.
