Scheduled for departure on 8/8/14 and this time we're off to Prague to begin our first visit to the more eastern reaches of Europe.

... eating lunch, we ended up sharing our picnic table with two ladies from Canada, one in her late 50's who was a former Air Traffic Controller, the other her daughter, who is currently a commuter pilot flying Beech 1900s in British Columbia. They were there for the Women in Aviation activities, although they had just missed the annual group photo when it was taken early. It was fun chatting with them, as they were from Peace River, AB, where ...
... road, dotted line (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 – eyes cross again), trucks (oh geeeeez, more road kill), (look up) clouds. I’ve been able to make out clouds in the form of a duck, an angel and Chester Cheetah (perhaps a brain pattern correlated directly to my cheesy breakfast) – surprising and yet somewhat exciting. Never know what’s going to happen next…..
... hauled around 3L of water on my back, sun glasses, and a few odds and ends. Also big enough to carry everything I needed on a hike or around town. Not big enough let me stuff it full of stuff I didn't need. Big win here.
