    ... great place to to spend a couple of days the weather was hot and humid (high 90's about 37c) and after a trip to the Mexican markets we added a few more souvenirs to our collection.     So I arrived back at Cals after buying some new trainers on the way, mine were wrecked! He lives in a wealthy area and the country club he works for give him a house share, free of charge, and it's a very good house! Lucky chap! He lives with two guys, Chris (another tennis coach) and Diego (footy coach). They are currently living the New Braunfels dream! Cal had to coach in the evening so I went along with him, and before he started I had a brief bit of tennis first! ...

    ... buses so we had to knock it on the head because it would have been too expensive for us to get a taxi there, so I found another ranch in Houston which we are getting the bus to, will be better for us (less expensive anyways) Back to the hotel for around 10pm, back to being old fogeys but we had an early rise and the only other thing left to do on the river walk was either fall in or drink more alcohol! :) The time is flying by! 5 cities down, 4 to go! Night Y'all ...

    ... our hotel, it's a really nice atmosphere there with the red brick buildings and cobble stone roads. We ate in YO Ranch, we both had a salmon and spinach dish with onions almonds and dried cranberries, it was lovely but very filling considering it was mostly leaves! Facetimed the lovely rents and then went back up to the pool to chill for an hour or so before we catch the megabus to San Antonio! *something I've noticed, their billboards ...

    ... to the river walk for a good look in the afternoon, and after a rest at the hotel, back over ther again in the evening for a nice dinner at a Tony Roma's rib place.
