Departed on time - 6:30 pm PST. Colin was our flight attendant - a nice bloke from London, who unfortunately was a Chelsea fan :( A very comfortable experience in Business Class Premium. Yes spoiled, but have to treat my bride right for putting up with me for 25 years and it is a 14 hour flight, which is a bit long for a big man!! We all congregated before the concert started, which featured the Capital Cities. I didn't know much about them, but they performed well and was a good show. We consider a bus from here, but Murray wants to walk at least as far as the waterfront, so walk down Punchbowl Street to the commercial complex on Ala Moana Boulevard, where we get a drink and rest a while, as we’re both pretty hot. Murray goes exploring, but can’t find much of interest which is ...

... snorkeling sets and a beachvolley ball. Fun times ahead!

The plan is to stay in Bangkok a couple of nights, then head south to Ko Tao to take our PADI scuba diving certification, then to go across to the west coast to Railay's beach to do some Rock Climbing. We'll see if we actually follow plans...

More news soon (hopefully more exciting than this one)!
