... zombies, so we spent quite a bit of time watching the parade before walking up the road and meeting Sue & John as arranged.

We found a nice pub/restaurant called El Pablo which was very reasonably priced with good food. then decided to walk back to our apartment which took us much less time than we expected. Vancouver is actually a pretty compact city and this probably explains the number of high rise apartment blocks in very close proximity to the CBD.

... and the females. Around about are a few half-eaten salmon remains, which are pretty fresh. But no actual bears put in an appearance. We take a quick look in the rainforest itself - a lush green mass of moss, fallen trees, lichens and ferns, with bear paths running through. It's like another world again, and it would be nice to see a bear in this environment too. But no. We're out of time, and head back to pack for the journey ...
