          ... apple sauce, it didn't hurt to have the morning sun on my skin and the brazilian breeze through my hair.
          In the afternoon Marn and I picked up Bert from work and went for lunch to have some frozen acai, then drove around to take in some of the sights, land marks and famous architecture. Picked up Mateo and Gabriel from school and took in the last bit of their soccer game.

          ... s minimum wage. 17,000 Real’s /year, must pay 17% income tax, that can go up to 35%. Since 1988, everyone has healthcare. The government is trying to increase the number of schools. People take exams to become civil servants. There are many civil servants, 1.3 million. They make 5000/month. Many families have a maid because the women work 2 jobs. Public school start at age of 4 for ½ day. There are 188 schools.

          ... a good place to sup a caiparinha! I'm not sure that I have the strength for that, but I'll deinitely venture out once I feel human again; I might even do some laundry, as handwashing and ridiculous humidity have made my clothes STINK!

          P.s. It's funny, the layout of Brasilia seems a lot less confusing now I've just done it backwards - my 2 hour journey this morning has just taken 10 minutes! Oh dear, dear me, when will I ever learn the power of navigation!?!?

          ... 1 seat left on the same flights as Id reserved, only of course the price had gone up so I ended up paying extra for the flight plus an admin charge!

          Oh and in addition to that, they almost wouldn't sell me the ticket or check me in as i didn't have proof of an onward journey in Brazil - no outgoing flight, no bus ticket. In the end I just told them that I would just sort it out with immigration in Brazil, so they just told me to be prepared ...
