It takes about 4 hours to drive to Orlando from Miami in a tiny Mazda 2 with a petrol tank the size of a thimble. But we made it to Kim and Chris's place in Winter garden just outside Orlando safely and immediately set about getting rid of the car so it wouldn't be a burden the next day. Kim took us on a scenic drive that eventually managed to get us to a place where we could drop it off. Our hosts the took us out for tacos at the very trendy Roccos Tacos, which were ...

The train itself is held in place by a series of rubber tires while an automatic switch rotates the piece of track directly behind the train. This effect distracts riders from ...

I jest, it was a day of wonderful diversity the strangest part of which was that, no exaggeration, the bulk of voices we heard anywhere in Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley were British. Thus it begs the question, were we in Universal? Or were we truly transported to Harry's wizarding world???

... was quite hard getting photos as a lot of the route is tree lined and as we are travelling so fast, as soon as an opening with a good shot appears, it's gone again by the time the camera takes it's snap, so just a lot of pictures of passing trees.

Breakfast was calling us at about 8am. It was not too busy again, as it had been open since 6.30am. I had the continental, which comprised of porridge, fruit: fresh orange & strawberry slices, with a strawberry ...

... earlier (Salazar Slytherin wizard card). Eventually the ride re-opened so I went straight down the Single rider line. The queuing area was that long it took around 5 minutes to reach the front, even though there was nobody in front. Only one of the trains was running, so I got on that. Fair to say, it won the race anyway.

We headed to the exit to catch the bus back, stopping at the gift shop to add to Anna's badge collection, and eventually arrived ...
