... Texas for some lunch at a rest area...finally something other than Turkey in a wrap...tuna sandwiches, heaven! Then back on the road we got to see some the sticks! Something had happened on the main route in adding 2 hours to our journey so we decided on a detour taking us through some interesting places! At camp I barely had enough time to get the tent up before I had to start cooking. Tonight my group were preparing a Korean curry and it ...

... only non-fast food restaurant (that we could find out about). Ruby's Cafe is situated on the old main street---a stark contrast to the continuous strip mall of the main highway through town. This may have been out in the middle of nowhere, but the food was excellent. I ate the grilled shrimp, and it was possibly the best shrimp I ever ate anywhere. If you're ever in Eunice, Louisiana.....
