3 rooms, 2 queen beds and a pull out, 3 tvs but the toilet kept running all night and thats what gave it the 3 star. Lots of shady people wandering around also. It will be nice to leave.

... trying to cure their hangovers. After we ate, we explored a little before getting back in the car and heading towards Minneapolis, Minnesota - a 4 hour drive. The first 2 hours went by without a problem. The playlist featured Doomtree (an Indie Hip Hop group based in Minneapolis), Bob Dylan, and Prince. Everything seemed good to go. We had a full tank of gas and had just stopped to stretch and use the restroom. ...
... our hotel, and we happened to get upgraded to this two bedroom, two bath mini apartment! It's a shame that we are only in this hotel for a night but at least we will get to enjoy some space for a little bit.
More driving tomorrow -- thanks for keeping up with the blog, I know I have been inconsistent lately with blogging! I will try to update daily for the rest of the trip (crazy to think that we get to New York on Saturday!!)

We walked down to the capitol and Mary told us about the recent demonstrations there. On our return to campus, we ended the day with yummy ice cream cones. It was a full day and we enjoyed it all.

From there I followed the LP advice to walk down State St as far as the university; as I did so I felt myself become conspicuously old the further from the Capitol and closer to the Uni I got – that'll be all those Gen Yers again. At the far end I went and looked out over the lake (one of two that help shape Madison’s downtown area) and it was thick with ice. So think that there were ice fishermen with mini tents ...
