A Visit to Salem

Fun day! LaureAnn and I drove over to Salem, Massachusetts for all things witchy! What a beautiful day. the drive was wonderful - lots of great conversation, story swapping, beautiful scenery, and then Salem itself.

We walked around, visited a couple of the sites, one being the only structure left from the witch trial period. That is the home of Judge Corwin.

... It was then time to head out to meet my host and hostess for the last leg of my journey, Michael and LaureAnn Price. They live about an hour from Poughkeepsie in Torrington, Connecticut, which is why I went to Poughkeepsie in the first place. But I am so glad that I did. What a lot there is to do around there!

... Our next stop was at the Dinosaur Park. It is kind of funny that the state of CT was going to build a state building and when excavating this ground, they discovered dinosaur tracks.
