... was a driving day. Although interesting to see real America in all its forms, driving the rolling hills of eastern Oklahoma and Arkansaw, marveling a what a great country this is, giving the occassional "whoa, check that out", it still was a day that was uneventful.

... kids spent at least $5.00 buying $.50 bags of corn for the ducks. They had a ball. I was able to do laundry while the kids and Patrick swam in the salt water pool. The KOA owner was a grumpy older man. Every time we asked him a question he acted like we were bothering him. Midday we went down to a store called A-Z sporting goods. It was a huge store with everything from cheer leading outfits to guns ...
... I haven't been there in several years, so am looking forward to seeing those brethren again. And the Hawkins' are delightful folks, very enjoyable to spend time with.
So, the next journey has begun. And with no storms rolling through the area right now, It appears we'll be able to avoid the delays and problems of previous trips - always a good thing!
