    ... folks by my post yesterday, sorry. We are still at Coralville Lake. Yesterday we went sight-seeing in all those places. Tomorrow we head for Portage, WI.     ... the sidewalks. We ate dinner there, but not in an Amish restaurant. In fact there is no Amish restaurant in Kalona. There are several bakeries and Amish groceries in the area along with the usual, furniture makers, etc. They have a historical museum which consist of some of the old buildings and show the Amish/Mennonite way of life.     Now in Pella - Dutch town -
    or was settled by Dutch who came to USA to escape religious persecution
    back in Holland. They are now being outnumbered by the "outsiders". They have certainly kept their culture alive and it is a fascinating place
