    Holiday Inn does not have a free breakfast so we went to Cracker Barrel which was close to the Honeywell. Diane had Old Timers and Joel had Uncle Herschel's........bought a DVD of Mama's Family episodes and a 6" cast iron pan for the RV (we had given the one we had to Deb for Christmas).........57.64 on visa. Stopped at the WDW Walmart to get some needed things.....132.26 on visa and went to the Walmart Liquor Store for Vodka ...

    We both slept 11 hours. Checked out of the Hampton Inn Downtown and drove the campus of the University of Texas. A huge school at over 50,000 students. We made a stop at the Texas Tower and walked around it. This was the same spot where on August 1, 1966, Charles Whitman shot and killed several students and faculty. It is hard to believe that something so terrible happened in this serene location. You get a wonderful view of the Capitol building from the tower. Next we visited ...
