Historical Traveler Reviews Comfort Inn Orlando/ Lake Buena Vista
Great location, good hotel
Great location and hotel if you are going to Disney. The rooms are average, and beds very comfortable. My only complaint is the staff is not very friendly.
Great location, very nice hotel
we stayed for 9 nights, 2 adults and our 2 kids (11&6).
very clean and good size room.
the staff was very friendly.
elevator works v e r y slow and the pool is small compares to other hotels but the kids had no problems with it.
the location is very good, close to I-4 and to the parks.
We chose this hotel because of the good reviews we read on tripadvisor, and we were not disappointed at all. It was very quiet (was anyone else around us?). The beds were very comfortable, and our kids enjoyed the pool with the slide. Our room was in great shape and up to date. The free continental breakfast was tasty, tended very well, and we never saw anything run out. This hotel is also very convenient to Disney. We highly recommend it.
Nice, clean hotel
Stayed here May 24 - 29, 2006. This is a very nice hotel with interior corridors. Everything was clean and well maintained during our stay. The free breakfast was a plus before heading to the parks. The kids loved the pool with slide and waterfall. It only took us 10 min. to get to Disney World and only 5 min. to Downtown Disney. You can also walk to nearby restaurants.
Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and daughter.
The beds are very comfortable, the room was very clean. The pool was amazing and very well heated.
Service was impeccable. Will definitely repeat.
Great Location and amenities for the price!
We stayed 4 days and saved a ton of money on food. Family of 5 we started our day with the free Continental breakfast and used the refrigerator and microwave for light meals and snacks. Couldn't keep the kids away from the pool and waterslide. Staff very friendly and helpful. The lobby is awesome.
Stayed here during Spring break and was very pleased with the beautiful accomodation and excellent services offered. The hotel is quite new so everything is in top notch condition. The breakfast buffet is very good, offering a fine selection of items from cereal to warm cinnamon buns.
Would recommend this place without any hesitation. Fine for families, in particular.
Kids Loved The Waterslide
First time at this hotel. Kids loved the heated pool and waterslide. Plus the free continental breakfast saved us money with three kids. Staff is great and the hotel looks brand new. Very clean.
We'll be back.

... side I made a quick turnaround.
Friday was a fantastic day. Firstly Thomas and I had been given a room upgrade after the conference (yippee!), secondly we were going to Universal and thirdly we were going outlet shopping in the evening. We woke up early, donned our trainers (essential for running to that first ride) and made our way to Universal Studios. I love theme parks and the ones in Orlando really ...

My "screams like a girl" self was relieved he wouldn't be back. Marilyn took him to the bathroom and gave him a burial at sea. I am now looking for his family who will surely take revenge on me tonight - our last night - OUR LAST NIGHT. If you don't hear from us, me at least, again - send a search party.

I think we may have actually cut in front of a bunch of people, as there was just a mass of people walking to the back of the park and we were faster walkers than some and by the time we realized that EVERYONE was heading to Kilimanjaro, we'd p************* lot of people. Oh well.

Having never been to Discovery Cove I was excited to finally be going there, especially because they give you unlimited free food and beer for the full day! Having been on no less than 3 previous occasions, Kirsty quickly got me up to speed and after a nice breakfast we were into our wet suits and ready to go exploring.
Our first stop was the Otters and Monkeys, now just clear this ...

Of course, despite these impressive surroundings, literally minutes later Gordie (bro-in-law, charismatic charmer of fish), Andrew (nephew-in-law, affable collector of human blood) and I were back on the road on our way to St. Petersburg, home of the Tampa Bay Rays and only an hour and a half drive from the place we had just travelled 4,000 kilometres to be, but which already seemed unable to hold our interest. We arrived just ...
