... with special effects built into the seats. Kylee didn't mind the water being sprayed on us or the real bubbles floating during the movie but she didn't care for the scary parts and put her head into her blanket several times. Kaleb liked the movie but it was too short for him. We ate lunch, which cost a ridiculous amount of money, almost $50. From there we walked the lower level waiting for the 2:00 pm aquarium show. While waiting for the show Kylee fell asleep and woke up as ...

... Chris went online and searched the ZipCar web site for the closest available vehicles. A suitable-sized Nissan sedan was parked just two blocks away and immediately reserved for three hours from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.. ... are not in your face, do not whinge, and still hope you have a good day even if you can't spare any change. The food in Chicago is quite cheap, especially if you're directly comparing it with Perth. The shopping however was a little disappointing; aside from the expensive shops, the prices in even the regular shops are only comparable at best with back home. Everything aside, Chicago is a pretty cool place to see and was a fun introduction to the United States. Peace out from Chicago ...

Chicago: did it burn in vain? You decide.

A travel blog entry by isy14 on May 11, 2014

My first journey using the greyhound bus service. This was the cheapest option from Philadelphia to Chicago so I wasn't expecting outstanding service. Well, that is an extreme overstatement to be honest. We 'broke down' about an hour outside Chicago because the driver accidentally turned off the electricity. After a few hours of debating what we were going to do (bearing in mind a baby was on board; the mother of whom had to get to Texas!) the driver realised and turned ...
