Our luggage finally arrived at around 1.00am! Wendy was the first to head down to the front desk to retrieve the suitcases and consequently the first to discard the travel weary clothes for a fresh replacement outfit. Refreshed and decked out in clean clothes, we caught a taxi across town to a Mexican market south-west of S & M's apartment. The market is largely a trash and treasure affair but the main draw card for ...

We knew we had to get past Chicago tonight to stay on schedule, but we decided we had time to stop in the Windy City for the Cubs v Rockies game. We continued our travels east through a piece of Pennsylvania and into New York.

Yesterday, the weather took a brisk change...now I know why it's called the Windy City! The doorman and I have our morning chats that usually results in me going back into the hotel to add another layer or two! My morning on Tuesday was spent at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa. A massage and facial were the treatments of choice. With the therapist being overwhelmingly excited in meeting and treating a ...

It is 3:15am. Just spent the last 13 hours at O'Hare. Plane experienced a catastrophic engine failure (before departure). Flying out tomorrow at 4:30pm. I just lost a day in Krakow, but if all goes well tomorrow, the trip will be back on track. I made a friend at the airport. His name is Reggie Finn; an American expat to Stockholm. He is an electrical engineer ...
