... to like $360 (!!) the other day, so I was pretty mad about that. But oh well! I will be flying out of Charlotte, which is 1.5 hours away, so I will have to get up really early tomorrow, like 3:30am! I might as well pull an all nighter.
Now off to pack my beach clothes and scuba gears, and make sure I don't have anything that will spoil in my house!
So the adventure begins! After scrambling around the house all morning getting ready to leave, we actually left for the airport right on time. At the Greensboro airport we printed out our boarding passes and checked in our luggage. At the TSA security gate, I was checked because my braid seems to set off the heat sensor in the scan tube. ... with a gun!! We didn't argue just smiled politely while dad called him mate!! He wasn't impressed!! When we got here we found a bar to watch the match in then wished we hadn't!! Just chilling now getting ready for Knoxville tomorrow We have sent a pic of our car with me behind the wheel. The car is stationary, this is the closest I have come to driving lol!!! They have promised to help us visit the schools they work with & they're even picking us up from the airport! We'll stay in Malabo for 3 weeks. If we are allowed, we will take short trips outside the city as well.

During these two weeks I will seek an internship with an organization called "The Ladybug Project" which organizes on the ground experiences for students and volunteers. They will place me in a volunteer position with the local community. Their placement includes housing and transportation to and from the airport.
