    From Roswell we drive to Carlsbad Caverns. The caverns are on the Unesco world heritage list, so we decide to pay them a visit. Located 250 meters under ground are loads of stalagmites, stalactites, draperies, soda straws and popcorn. Soda straws being the tiny ones hanging from the ceiling . In Europe we call them Spaghetti. Popcorn are located on the ground. The cavern is beautiful, but we saw an even more beautiful cavern in Slovenia last year, so were a little spoilt. ...

    Got here without any trouble and even got some good advice from our seat mate who gave us some tips to fight jet lag. She's been to Oz a bunch of times and sez the great ocean road is spectacular. This airport is huge!! We've got a couple hours to kill in Dallas before we head out to Sydney. Not looking forward to the 16hrs in a little seat. Hopefully our seat assignments will be fixed and I can relax on the aisle. Missing my family already. Thanks ...
