... it's close to the size of LAX, but LAX is nowhere as clean as this one. Very impressive. Once in the air, Elisa gets to experience what it is like to be on a plane where she doesn't understand the language. Up until this point, we have been in Spain and Italy and those languages are both derived from Latin and very similar. Similar to the point she is able to understand and converse enough to get us thru ...

... about 2 hours up there and went on each of 3 walks. Two went up to two slightly taller peaks - about 10-15 minutes of stairs. The third little hike took us along the edge of one of the peaks where you could look down into the valley below. Once again very spectacular. After all that we boarded the cog rail for our descent. The steepest cog rail (48%) in Europe. That was about 45 minutes and delivered us to the ferry terminal where ...

... We were parked on what we thought was the right street but our street number didn't seem to exist. I lost count of how many times Matt walked up and down the street (and I mean literally up and down!) in the rain while I kept nice and cosy in the car. Eventually Matt came back to the car and looked up the address on the GPS again. It turned out we had entered the address slightly incorrectly and there was another street with the same name just around the ...
