... perhaps concerned, salesperson beetled upstairs after us to suggest that perhaps the wines downstairs may be more what we were looking for! How we wished to just whip out the Visa and purchase a bottle or two of the finest, just to fluster them! We had to content ourselves with a glass of red at the Bar a Vin instead!

... to take the optional tour to some immense sand dune so it is cancelled (we were not intending to go), Instead- well, most of the group are heading to the laundromat in the morning. In fact, so are we, which should be an interesting french experience as I have never been in any laundromat before! Then in the afternoon we all go to see how the wine in the area is made and more importantly taste it.......

... sand dune in Europe. The Dune is located in the Bassin D'Arcachon along France's Atlantic coast. The drive took just under an hour, and was quite scenic, as we passed by wineries and forests. Another awesome thing about France is that the speed limit on the Motorway is 130kmph, making for a much quicker trip. The Motorway was dotted with tiny European model cars.
