Our first morning in St Petersburg and we wandered to the nearest cafe down the road and had a very ordinary breakfast. Everything was cold and the coffee was..., best left unmentioned. We soon realised that pointing to the beautiful pictures on the menu will not mean that your meal will turn up looking anything Iike the picture. Or heated. The pictures appear to be more of a guideline than a guarantee.
