... to all of the floors in time but it was interesting. Then we headed to the Topography of Terror, which was the headquarters of the Gestapo and SS. It was also a very large museum, but it was more modern than an average museum. By then we were hungry, so we made it to a restaurant in a square. I had a currywurst with fries. We walked down to Alexanderplatz -- easy to find because of the Beline TV antenna nearby. After seeing this, we want to walk down to the Brandenburg Gate, and, after a few misturns, we started out into the right direction.

Shortly after I finished, my dessert came out. I didn't bother telling them about the miscommunication so I ate it instead. It was small but prepared in a gourmet style with chantilly cream and berry compote. Divine! It was time to go into the theatre so we said goodbye and found our seats. ...

... I started doing some recon on activities for the night. I'll admit, part of me wanted to stay cosied up in the hostel lounge with my laptop and wifi, but social Rachel scolded me for this lazy attitude and redirected me to a page for a poetry slam that was conveniently happening tonight! It wasn't until I was on the train on the way there that I realised it probably wasn't an English slam (note: it wasn't). It's funny though, I absolutely adored it all the ...
