Motor bike riders occasionally riding up on the footpath to get around traffic jams. Had a shower and laid down for a while. I had heard of this restaurant call "La Residence", it had been recommended. Being my last night in Phnom Penh, I decided to spoil myself and try it for dinner. ... killing fields have again been made into a memorial to pay tribute to those who lost their lives here under such unjustifiable circumstances. The central stupa houses 8,000 skulls of the regimes victims in a 17 storey tower. There is an eerie silence around the fields as most people are in sheer disbelief at the crimes committed here.
