... whole way with some minor separation on the hills. We finished well within the cut off without over exerting ourselves.

At the finish, there’s an athletes village with lots of food and drink (and a merry-go-round) and now we’re back at the hotel, cleaning up and resting before we have to go up to the briefing for tomorrow.

Andorra has more mountainous S-bends per km of road than anywhere in the world, I am sure, and we traversed most of them today! What a funny random little day it was. Leaving Barcelona Golf Resort and Spa for Andorra, the small tax haven country between Spain and France, the scenery changed to large rocky mts, green valleys and turquoise coloured rivers. Only 25km into our drive we noticed from the windy road what looked like an amazing hotel perched into the rocks way way up above on the mountain. From afar we thought how cool it would be to visit. As we got closer we noticed a cable car and thought ...

    Jaca to Andorra

A travel blog entry by westcoast09 on Aug 05, 2014

... into town. Geoff found a bike shop, Motocard, so he and Greg went off to it and then into town whilst Roger stripped the bike down looking for the supposed loose connection. Saddles off laying on the garage floor with torch trying to trace the loom wasn't easy, but every connector you can see was checked and pushed together in a bid to sort the problem. Once that was done I walked into town to try and find the ...
