... our vodka) for a cards session on the balcony. Sorry everyone back home in the chill, but sitting in the warmth with nibbles, cards and lunatic DaveO is rather pleasant!

£5 for an all you can eat buffet at our hotel was our dinner option, of course we went for it! We had a lovely seat outside overlooking the pool under candle light - no we weren't romancing! It was great, a full selection of various Indian food options, delicious. A few more cards and we were ...

... lined with cute brightly colored beach huts. All we wanted in a Goan beach experience was to be able to lay in the sun, read, swim, relax, not get too hassled, and stay in a cheap quintessential beach hut. We lucked out since this was the perfect place for us to spend 10 days. For the most part Palolem checked the boxes for all these requirements, so we never found a reason to leave. (The one exception was ...

... but his credit card was left at the hotel and we couldn't leave to go and get it. Thankfully the driver for the hotel was on his way to drop it off. A porter guided us out to Spice Jet counter to organise another flight. This took time as EVERY credit card we used kept declining. This couldn't be happening we knew we had funds in there. Finally it was 'approved' and we had a new ticket to Goa and only had to wait another 2 and a half hours. Our next drama we knew would be ...
