    ... Terre was a very fun and full day yesterday, but got off to a rough start. Turns out I bought my train ticket for the wrong day, so once on the train when the employee checked my ticket and saw it was the wrong day, I had to buy another ticket as well as pay a 50 euro penalty fee.     Today we elected to stay local and see the town of Orvieto, before we head for a late afternoon wine tasting. We had been thinking about driving to another nearby hill town, but our decision was influenced by our driving yesterday and learning from some of our fellow B&B guests at breakfast of the interesting things they had been able to see during their stay in Orvieto.

    ... female, just sort-of hanging around whiling away the day talking, smoking, drinking coffee, and doing nothing in particular... and, as I've noted before, there is certainly no point in keeping your shop open during the lunch hours from 12.00-15.00 - there might be customers around to make you busy, so let's just close up for that period....
