    ... clouds and hail of the past week.

    The saltwater in the Gold Coast was not
    as intense as I am accustomed to. There was no strong smell of slat
    in the air, but you did get all crinkly after diving in and drying. I
    had a blast bracing for the waves and diving under the large ones. I
    tried to body surf a bit, but with no success.

    How you swim here is between flags.
    There are lifeguard stations periodically down the beach and you must
    swim ...

    ... Went to the crocodile behaviour show (was quite boring), a sheep shearing show which Tai took part in and an aboriginal show! By this time, the tiredness was kicking in! Came home and had a 30 minute nap and up and ready again to go out to the Outback Spectacular show.     ... another mouthful of water. Matty eventually fell over and realised just how hard it was to get back up. We kept spending about 30 mins in the water then getting out and drying off and getting back in. We spent all afternoon at the beach before Matty started getting irritated because he was too hot.     ... brilliant so much going on and so many restaurant! We had a wonder to the beach and watched a mini sunset which was beautiful. We decided we wernt that hungry so we came back made some noodles to fill a gap and had an earlyish.night.

    As we didn't go to nimbin in Byron in the end we decided to use the money we would have there on a trip to Wet n Wild water park tomorrow cannot wait!!!
