So yes the plan was to go out, but we ended up going back to the girls apartment again, and got so chilled out that we didn't end up going out. Well a few of the girls from their apartment did, but we were having too much of a good time so didn't join them. It was another great night. Then the next day, aka yesterday, I went up to the hippy town called Nimbin. Jonny ...

We finished the walk in about 20 minutes, including some extensive photo sessions, and hiked back to the car, our visit complete -- and Kyra looking forward to her pasta lunch.

... would be an awful shame to go to all this trouble and expense and end up with something less than adequate. The trip will cost me only a little more than the air freight, and I get to have a couple of side trips to a couple of less travelled parts of India. All makes perfect sense really. Sitting at the Kirra Surf Club, having a glass or two of bubbles and enjoying the view of the sea. Not a particularly nice afternoon, quite cloudy and a little bit cool but that's ...

... the last two hours. A stressful and disappointing evening, but oh well, part of the adventure I suppose! Shattered once we arrived, we checked into our room in byron bay and hit the sack. Day 11, our first in byron bay. Had a little walk around, a pretty small town, relaxed, chilled out, plenty of hippies around. We went to the beach for a while and swam in the sea, sunbathed a bit but had a relaxed day all in all. Cooked a healthy dinner after eating **** all day ...
