Left Charleston late, we stopped in Columbia 30 minutes after dark.
Dinner: Chick fil a french fries with Polynesian sauce.
Let me be honest, Columbia was mainly chosen because it possessed a Schlotzsky's deli; which we missed because of their ridiculously late opening time... 11 am.

I had no idea where I was supposed to go, what I was supposed to do, what room I was in. I felt really lost and abandoned. Security got me to sign a heap of paperwork and gave me my key. They also gave me a form that needed to be filled in within 24hrs to say where there is damage in my room so that when I leave I don't get charged for damage that was already there when I moved in.
... directions. Cars, cars and concrete roads...Horrible. Anyway John and I drove to such horrible place as Walmart to add to our supplies for a nice new year eve dinner in the room. Among all those enormously fat waddling badly dressed Americans we strode and found treats such as ice cream, cashews and dips. Wont be fire works for us tonight but we will have a nice dinner together and as Andreas sad, our entertainment and special evenings will come on the ...
... and continued on big freeways to Colombia where we only pulled off because it was time to stop for the day. On our third motel visit we settled; Red Roof Inn costing $115 for two rooms. Food shopping at Walmart and we all hope we have enough food to last as for tomorrow too. Tedious to buy food eve single evening! Dinner for four in the boys ' room. We all ad to ave 'Healthy Cuisine' meals because they provide good plates which can be ...
... a little while, just walking around and observing. Then, we walked back up to the campus. Once we got back though, we decided to part ways and go home. So, I ended up leaving Columbia around 5:45 and arriving back in Charleston at 8. The trip was fun, but Columbia wasn't really my cup of tea (I left before 6 at night...), so I think I'll stick with Charleston and travel to some of the other great places around (aka Savannah). ...
