... had a great day walking around and checking out the sights. Nice lunch, some shopping and Jen found a nice quilt shop and bought some nice patchwork material. All in all a good day. 3.10.14 Travelling. Took off quite early from our Hotel, which tried to increase the price for the second night by €24 without having told us, not on and did not happen. I was supposed to turn left outside the station and gate was right there. The orientation on google was wrong as it always points north. There was also a town map and brochures with maps.

Woke up about 9am to quickly get ready to catch the 10am bus into lübeck central city, where we would go shopping!! We each spent far too much, me buying MORE shoes! It was so windy that we could not ride our bikes across the big bridge and it was even difficult to hang on to them when we walked. However this town is lovely. Beautiful beach, promenade, lots of restaurants etc. we will take the week and make our way to Kiel where we will ...

Today, I went up to Hamburg to meet up with my mom's coworker's friend's daughter. She lives in Hamburg and is currently studying Fashion Management. We went and took a bus tour around the city which was mainly in German and I understood most of it! We then had lunch on the lake and walked around the city until she had to go to work.

I promise I will have more exciting things to write about this week!
